With over 70 years combined experience breeding dogs and raising healthy puppies, we understand the qualities that make a breed "outstanding"!  Our family maintains a small, elect breeding program; great emphasis is placed on sound, family-oriented temperaments and we have an experienced eye for functional structure. Health is confirmed through genetic testing and veterinary exams.  What does this mean for our owners?  Not only are RunAmok pups lovely in form, but also free of the genetic conditions afflicting dogs from unproven or untested lines.

All this, however, is just the beginning! Producing healthy, long-lived animals requires more than just the basics. We have found raising puppies holistically with natural, species-appropriate foods and avoiding chemicals wherever possible is key to proper development and long-term good health. WHY GENETIC TESTING?

If you are considering adding a Pomsky puppy to your family, it is important to choose a breeder who does genetic testing on their breeding dogs. In many cases, genetic testing may be done to help rule out hereditary health conditions in breeding stock, thus helping to eliminate the risk of affected offspring.

Using the most advanced modern genetic testing to rule out inheritable conditions makes good sense. We test through Embark, currently screening for over 255 different genetic health risks.  Our breeding animals (puppy parents) are neither affected by any of these conditions nor are they carriers - so our puppies are cleared by parentage.  In addition, all of our puppies have well-puppy exams before placement  - to ensure our puppy families receive truly healthy puppies!
